“You are invited to step into someone else’s skin. They may be within your own city or country, or they may be miles away in a foreign land. Listen to them tell you about the wind on their face, the grass between their toes and the whiff of the streets. Sneak into their present for just a fleeting moment.”

Conceived by Rachel Parish, developed as part of All Change 2014, and collaboratively created by artist teams in five global locations, You Are Here, is low-fi teleportation at its best. Teams of artists engaged strangers in iconic public places throughout Augsburg, New Orleans, London, Reykjavik and New Orleans and recorded them describing exactly what they could hear, feel, taste, smell and see.  The recordings were uploaded onto a single platform and at each festival location during All Change 2014, audience members could put on a pair of headphones, close their eyes and experience the world through someone else’s words via this digital storytelling installation.
